StockTools Home

StockTools is a set of calculators for stock transactions. These calculators are designed to quickly calculate specific transaction type details. In addtion, when you purchase StockTools, you will get the ToolLauncher, a program that resides in the taskbar and allows quick access to the StockTools as well as any other program, website or link that you would wish to access with a click of your mouse.

There is a free web based version of the tools that is available at the StockTools Free Calculators page

The version of StockTools that runs locally on your computer has a InstallShield™ Installation script and contains the tool launcher as well as additional tools can be found by following the link to StockTools in our Shop.

Minimum requirements:

• Microsoft Windows Operating System (Versions: 2000, XP, 2003, or Vista)
• Microsoft .NET framework

	QuickShares - Calculates the number of shares that can be purchased with a given number of dollars for a share price with or without including commission. The functionality of this calculator is available at the free calculator page.
	QuickGain - Calculates the gain of a stock transaction given dollars, commission, and share price. The functionality of this calculator is available at the free calculator page.
	QuickSellPrice - Calculates the sell price of a stock given the number of dollars used, buy price, desired gain, and optional commission. The functionality of this calculator is available at the free calculator page.
	QuickPercent - Provides the sell price of a stock at different percent values. Great for determining stop loss and limit sell points.
	QuickCostAverage - Given several different transactions on the same stock, calculates the dollar cost average for the stock based on each of the lots.
